Zenyora Privacy Policy

At Zenyora, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Zenyora platform, including macOS and Windows desktop apps and web services, for personal wellness, productivity, and posture improvement.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to individual users using Zenyora for personal wellness, productivity, and posture improvement.
2. What Data We Collect
We only collect the minimum data required to deliver our services. This includes:
A. Screen Recording & NLP Data
- Screenshots captured every 60–90 seconds during active sessions (if enabled)
- Text extracted from screenshots via OCR for focus/distracted analysis
- Application usage (apps used, duration)
- Activity context (work, social, learning)
- Screen time metrics analyzed locally
- No personal identifiable information is shared externally
B. Posture & Health Metrics
- Real-time posture tracking using your device camera (processed locally)
- Break recommendations and ergonomics feedback
Note: No raw video or pose data is stored or uploaded. All processing happens locally on your device using edge-based AI.
C. Device & Usage Data
- Active, idle, offline, and break times
- Device activity metrics (CPU usage, idle time, etc.)
D. Account Information
- Name, username, and email address provided during registration on www.zenyora.com
- Authentication credentials
- Subscription and billing data for macOS (Apple In-App Purchase) or Windows (Stripe)
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to improve your experience. Specifically, we use it to:
- Analyze productivity and identify focus patterns
- Send real-time nudges and reminders to stay on track
- Provide wellness insights (e.g., posture correction, screen time breaks)
- Track work sessions using Pomodoro-style timers
- Enhance app performance and user experience
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your data is not shared with employers or third parties for monitoring.
4. Data Sharing
We limit sharing to only what is essential and secure:
- With Trusted APIs:
- Processed text data may be sent to OpenAI API (not ChatGPT web) for focus analysis
- Data is not stored externally per OpenAI policy
- No Sharing with Employers or Organizations
Zenyora does not provide personal data to third parties, employers, or institutions - Legal Requirements: Data may be disclosed only if required by law (e.g., valid court order)
5. How We Store and Protect Your Data
- Local Processing: Screen recordings, posture analysis, and camera input are processed locally on your device
- Encryption: All sensitive data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Secure Infrastructure: HTTPS, secure authentication, and limited access protocols are in place
- No raw screen or pose data is stored on our servers
6. Data Retention
- Default Retention: Session data is kept only during active use unless you opt to store summaries
- Account Deletion: Deleting your Zenyora account will permanently delete or anonymize all associated data within 30 days
- No Long-Term Raw Data: Raw screenshots or pose data are never stored on our servers
7. Your Rights and Choices
- View or update your account information
- Disable features like screen recording or posture tracking from settings
- Delete your account anytime
- File a privacy complaint with your local data protection authority (where applicable)
We respond to all requests in a timely and lawful manner.
8. Your Privacy Controls
- You can disable screen recording, NLP analysis, and posture tracking anytime from app settings
- Core features like Pomodoro timers and posture alerts are free to use without subscription
9. Subscriptions & Billing
Zenyora offers subscription plans to unlock premium features such as advanced productivity insights, detailed posture analytics, and additional wellness recommendations. Subscriptions are handled differently on macOS and Windows:
macOS (Apple In-App Purchase)
- Payment Method: All subscriptions are managed via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by the user through their Apple ID account settings.
- Management & Cancellation: Users can manage, change, or cancel their subscription from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on macOS.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled directly by Apple. Users should contact Apple Support for any refund inquiries.
- Privacy: Payment information is processed securely by Apple. Zenyora does not have access to users’ credit card or billing information.
- Features Access: Premium features are unlocked automatically upon successful payment confirmation via Apple In-App Purchase.
Windows (Stripe)
- Payment Method: Subscriptions are handled via Stripe, a secure and widely used online payment processor.
- Billing Cycles: Users can choose monthly or yearly subscription plans, with automatic renewal at the end of each period unless cancelled.
- Management & Cancellation: Users can manage or cancel their subscription from within the Zenyora Windows app account settings or via the Stripe customer portal. Steps are provided in-app for easy access.
- Refunds: Refunds are processed according to Zenyora’s refund policy. Users can contact support@zenyora.com for assistance.
- Privacy: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. Zenyora does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment information on its servers.
- Features Access: Premium features are activated after successful subscription payment confirmation from Stripe.
Note: All subscription plans are optional. Users may continue to use the core free features of Zenyora without subscribing.
10. Children’s Privacy
Zenyora is for users 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
- Updates will be posted on www.zenyora.com
- The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the latest revision
- Significant changes may be notified in-app or via email
Continued use of Zenyora after updates means you agree to the revised policy.
